A (beautiful) woman is sitting opposite to him. He dreams as if the lady is calling him and he tries to run towards her but is unable to move. Updates about my laptop
Hard disk re-partitioned.
All required software installed.
Cygwin installed and configured. Had a minor glitch getting it up. But works like a charm.
Need to install Red Hat. But guess will wait for a week before going ahead. If i need to work on linux, need to buy VMware since a few applications i need to use daily runs only on Windows. Still a long way to go.
I have got a new laptop sponsored by my Company. Its a Dell Latitude D600
Have been damn busy since I got the laptop yesterday. Hence could not fiddle much. Knoppix 3.1 (supplied with LFY) works fine. Have some glitches with PCMCIA. Need to do some RTFM / STFW.

Got this SMS a few days back.

I am subscribed to the Citibank's CitiAlert Service which alerts me on my account information. But does registering to such a service automatically gives priviliege to Citibank to send me such SMS. Isnt this spam?
Citibank Privacy Promise says
We will limit the collection and use of customer information to the minimum we require to deliver superior service to our customers, which includes advising our customers about our products, services and other opportunities, and to administer our business.
and also
We will tell customers in plain language initially, and at least once annually, how they may remove their names from marketing lists. At any time, customers can contact us to remove their names from such lists.
